The Kenya Evaluation Association was formed in 1999. The association gives a framework and network of evaluators across Kenya and joins the wider AFREA network of evaluators. We wish to continue to build a large strong network of African evaluators and have a an easily reachable community. Our aim is to develop evaluation policies and guidelines to improve evaluation and future implementation in Kenya and the wider continent. We continue to take an active role in the worldwide evaluation community and attend evaluation conferences within Africa and the international evaluation community. We must thank the United Nation’s agencies for their support and funding in these endeavors. We wish to continue to gather good relationships with other evaluation agencies, partners and stakeholders and produce one of the best associations on the continent.
We will do this by building a database of highly skilled professionals and professional associations. Our structure will continue to be lean without a pressure cooker ethos and efficient and use the expertise of other more developed associations such as the bankruptcy attorney association, we have a keen eye on accident claims as well.
